This event was something special!

When it comes to setting up a blood drive or fundraising event for someone in need, the Vanduzer Foundation never fails to deliver. This event was held in honor of Jahwann McIntyre, a firefighter who was seriously injured when trapped while fighting a house fire in Martin County.

Hundreds gathered out and inside of Big Apple Pizza in Fort Pierce. Waiting in line for pizza orders, dropping off donations and enjoying the entertainment. There was a bounce house to keep kids busy, cupcakes and dancing. I arrived with my family at 6PM and my husband joined the line immediately, while I stood by the bounce house with our kids. We didn't receive our pizza until 8:24PM...

Now, you might be wondering why it would take so long, but the wait was fantastic! Knowing that it took a long time to place an order because there were so many people here to support Jahwann and his family is wonderful!
