  • Tribute to Our Hometown Heroes at Indian River County Main Library
6PM – 7:30PM. Please join us in paying tribute to our Hometown Heroes! Program begins with a PowerPoint presentation of our Hometown Heroes made up of both veterans and current Law Enforcement & Emergency Service workers. All Hometown Heroes in attendance will be introduced, thanked and given a certificate from the Library System.

After the presentation, families will visit stations/tables manned by the different branches of the military and local organizations. Scavenger Hunt!!! Children will participate in a scavenger hunt made up of questions they must get answered at each station. Crafts! Children will make cards that will be sent to those currently serving overseas.
