The Pure Zeppelin Experience at the Lyric Theatre, 8PM
"Years ago in days of old, when magic filled the air. Anyone lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin in concert in the ‘70s came away changed – visceral and tough, the music entered your body, through bone and muscle, and shook you to the very core. The unprecedented mix of power and passion – for the lyrics were sometimes delicately paired with the most combustible music and melodies – made for a rock ‘n’ roll experience unmatched, before or since. Guitarist Jimmy Page summed up his band thusly: “Power. Mystery. And the Hammer of the Gods.” The hammer has been passed to The Pure Zeppelin Experience, a Florida-based tribute band that reproduces a full Zeppelin concert, the madness and the majesty, to thrilling, chest-pounding effect. These are veteran musicians who’ve sold their souls for a one-way trip on the Stairway to Heaven."

Purchase at https://goo.gl/v9Uisf. Tickets from $30 - $40. "If you buy a ticket to The Pure Zeppelin Blues Experience (12/28/18) and The Pure Zeppelin Experience (12/29/2018) you will receive 1 commemorative T-Shirt, 1 commemorative VIP Laminate, and Access to the VIP after party on 12/28/2018." Yakov Smirnoff Happily Ever Laughter at the Lyric Theatre, 7PM - 9PM
"When Yakov Maumovich Pokhis emigrated to the United Stated from the Soviet Union, he took jobs bartending at resorts in the Catskills. When he decided to do stand-up comedy, he took his American name from the vodka popular at the resort. Yakov Smirnoff returns with comedy about the very messy business of being human.

Smirnoff is a bit of a Renaissance man. He got his start in stand-up in the late 1970s and was a roommate of comedian Andrew Dice Clay. He began to work in films, appearing in Moscow on the Hudson. In addition to a small role, he helped Robin Williams with his Russian dialogue. He was also in The Money Pit with Tom Hanks and Heartburn with Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. He appeared in several other movies, on the sitcom Night Court, and on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He had his own show, What a Country, named after his well-known tag line. In 1992, Smirnoff bought a theater in Branson, Missouri and performed there until 2015, where he entertained more than four million people. He appeared on Broadway in a one-man show, As Long as We Both Shall Laugh, and gives advice in a column for AARP Magazine.

Advice? What kind of advice? Here's where the Renaissance man part comes in. Smirnoff was fascinated by the nature of happiness and of relationships. In 2006, he got a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in positive psychology and he is an adjunct professor at Missouri Sate University, where he teaches a course on happiness and laughter. He is also a painter and after the attacks of September 11, he designed a mural that hung anonymously near Ground Zero until it was removed because of storm damage. The mural was a tribute to the country that took in a family of Ukrainian Jews and allowed a boy who spoke no English to become a star. Smirnoff became a citizen on July 4, 1986. What a country!" Lawn and Disorder: A Comedy from the Suburbs with Karen Morgan and Jim Colliton
at the Lyric Theatre, 7PM - 9PM. "Lawn and Disorder: A Comedy from the Suburbs, asks the burning questions. Is your house a disaster? Is your yard a disgrace? Does crabgrass rule your life? Is your family crazy?

National headlining comedians Karen Morgan and Jim Colliton have joined together to bring these important topics to the fore. Through stand-up comedy, audience participation and a crazy couples' game show, the two make you forget about the dirty dishes back home or the pile of laundry that won't fold itself. Both Morgan and Colliton understand that life is the biggest comedy of all.

"What are trials and tribulations of everyday life to most people become fodder for our humor," they say. "Our show allows the audience to laugh and let go because they relate to the shared experience. The show came about because we were both traveling the country as solo artists making people laugh about our families and lives in the suburbs. We quickly found that by joining together, we were able to bring both perspectives of marriage and parenting to the audience, It has been successful because it gives everyone permission to laugh at their own circumstances and we are better for it."

The two architects of this suburban madness bring years of comedy to the crabgrass. Karen Morgan is a former trial lawyer who began her professional comedy career as a finalist on Nickelodeon's Search for the Funniest Mom in America. She has performed at comedy clubs from Caroline's in New York to the Improv in Las Vegas to the Comedy & Magic Club in California. She can be heard on Sirius XM Radio and has done ads for Walmart and Zyrtec. She also performs for corporate and charitable events and is still licensed to practice law in Georgia and Maine, in case the comedy gig doesn't work out." Tickets are $42. www.lyrictheatre.com. The Chipper Experience! Where COMEDY and MAGIC Collide at the Lyric Theatre
7PM - 9PM. "Bizarre juggling stunts! Jaw-dropping mentalism! Magic and music! Stand-Up! And that's just in the first 15 minutes of The Chipper Experience, starring comedian and magician Chipper Lowell. He brings to The Lyric a show the Los Angeles Times called "Frenetic, Feverish and Hilarious," and CBS News said it was "One of the coolest things we've seen!" Lowell, twice Comedy Magician of the Year, is a manic red-head who specializes in edgy yet clean comedy and magic. He has been seen on The Tonight Show, Show Me the Funny!,  the Disney Channel, and on all four seasons of the Masters of Illusion on the CW network.

Lowell had the childhood millions of kids have dreamed of. His father was a professional clown with Ringling Brothers and his mother performed as an aerialist. Performing and comedy are in his DNA. By the time he was 17, he was creating his own shows, parodying many of the acts he saw growing up and creating his own magic acts. He got improvisation training with the famed Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles and that led to working the comedy club circuit for seven years. Soon he was headlining at casino towns in Las Vegas, Tahoe, Reno and Atlantic City and at resorts including Caesar's, Harrah's and Resorts International. Along the way, he's been named Comedy Magician of the Year twice, nominated twice for Stage Magician of the Year, and was listed among the Top Funniest Magicians Performing Today by Magic magazine.

These days, Lowell is touring with The Chipper Experience! Where COMEDY and MAGIC Collide. It is a family-friendly stage production that has toured the world. In 2006-2007, it ran for a record-breaking 12 months at the Horizon Casino Resort in Lake Tahoe. You can bring friends and family from 9-99 and join in the fun!"
