The card is $11 for St Lucie residents, and $21 for those who are not county residents annually, or $6/day. Helmets required for ALL skaters. Volunteer at Tradition Medical Center - Martin Health Auxilliary
"Martin Health System teenage volunteer program is designed to give students the opportunity to volunteer in a hospital environment. In order to assure that Martin Health maintains its high quality of service to the community, our teenage volunteers are selected on a competitive basis."

Today’s Auxiliary is made up of men and women from all walks of life and almost every occupation. Our volunteers are retired or working adults, college students and teenagers seeking to give back to their community. The Martin Health Auxiliary is one of the largest auxiliaries in the state of Florida, and has:

-More than 915 volunteers
- Almost 158,178 volunteer hours contributed annually
- More than $3.6 million in labor cost savings to Martin Health System in calendar year 2014.

"We do not accept volunteers who are required to volunteer as a condition of a court-ordered sentence.

Participation Requirements

To participate in the teenage volunteer program, students must be/have:

15 to 18 years of age
Minimum grade level of 9th grade
3.2 cumulative grade point average (as verified by a guidance counselor) on a standard diploma course of study", click here for more information.

Parents, work together to decrease risky behaviors, improve responsibility and manage stress. Teens, learn to tackle communication, increase self esteem, make friends and more, while having fun and playing games. Parents and teens, work together to strengthen bonding, cooperation, and understanding in a supportive and positive environment. St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office hosts "Learn To Swim"
at Lakewood Park Regional Park, 5:30PM - 7PM. For kids 6 - 17 years old. Tuesdays & Thursdays, November 6th - 15th. Red Cross Certified Instructors. Designed to help participants achieve maximum success. Learn to swim courses are based on a logical, six level progression that helps swimmers develop water safety, survival and swim skills. Below are descriptions of what participants should be able to do before enrolling in each level.

  • Level 1 - Introductory (May have little to no exposure to swimming and/or lessons. Participants needs no prior experience.).
  • Level 2 - Fundamental (Comfortable in the water, can glide in their front with face in the water and roll to their back and float).
  • Level 3 - Stroke Development (Push off and swim using combined arm and leg action for 5 body lengths, roll to back and float, then roll to front and swim an additional 5 body lengths).
